How We Serve Our Youth
Some of the course activities that youth will be able to take advantage of include Personal Development, Creative Expression, Financial Literacy, Business Plan Writing and Implementation, and Community Leadership.
They will also learn practical Studio/Radio Production, which will give them opportunities to learn and test new skills. Other mentoring programs will be included to give youth opportunities for positive social recreation with peers and families.

To decrease levels of attraction to violence and guns in all youth participants

Rhythm Parq Legacy's mentoring approach will create opportunities for youth to have a more hands-on experience. A youth leadership council made up of 4 youth will aid in tailoring program activities, providing feedback, and leading the development of scripts for multiple video productions as well as a radio show so as to provide opportunities for youth to assist in the design and implementation of services offered.
Actual programming will consist of a regimen of courses/activities designed primarily to complement the production process of multiple anti-violence videos and radio infomercials.
Combining interactive exchange with experiential activities, participants are expected to have ample opportunity to learn and test new skills through a wide range of social, cultural, educational, service, and employability initiatives.
Scholarships for Entrepreneurship Opportunities and/or College will be offered to individuals within Rhythm Parq who have excelled and have shown outstanding academic and personal achievement throughout the course of the program.
Although Rhythm Parq Legacy will address many areas concerning its youth, much focus will be given to the following areas with top priority.

Rhythm Parq Legacy is 100% committed to the positive development of its youth. And although we would like to offer a wider range of components, we realize that we cannot do everything. However, youth participants will have opportunities to engage in a number of recreational and leisurely activities throughout the program year. Additionally, board games, movies, picnics, and a range of other activities will be initiated with the goal of promoting Healthy lifestyles in a secure environment.
Finally, a family bonding component will be developed which will allow for quarterly family dinners with youth and program staff as well as a support group for parents to develop better parenting skills. Ostensibly, this gives youth opportunities for positive social and recreational activities with peers and families.
