As funding increases, many Volunteer Positions have the potential to become permanent full-time salaried positions. We are looking to fulfill positions in the Dallas Ft. Worth, Texas area.
Volunteer Requirements
The following is a list of requirements that must be met in order to serve youth at Rhythm Parq Legacy.

All Volunteers must participate in a monthly conference/zoom call (typically lasts about 1 hour).

Must Participate/Work Major Events hosted by Rhythm Parq Legacy that are held within your City (May Include Ushering, Vendor/Booth Setup, Equipment Setup/Breakdown, Transporting Celebrity Guests To/From Airport and/or Hotel, etc. and various other assignments as needed).

Make an Annual Tax-Deductible Donation to Rhythm Parq Legacy in any amount.

Attend the Annual Rhythm Parq Legacy Premier Event

Available Positions
As before mentioned, as funding increases, many Volunteer Positions have the potential to become permanent full-time salaried positions. It is our hope that we have an overwhelming amount of community support so that we may be able to offer full-time employment for Rhythm Legacy Volunteer Partners.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Works closely with the Founder/President and manages/supervises the various divisions of Rhythm Parq Legacy by scheduling phone conferences, Video conferences, and/or follow-up e-mails with team members regarding the status of their work. May occasionally travel with the Founder/President to events and other Rhythm Parq Legacy Locations. Training provided. Experience preferred but not required. Will also handle other day-to-day duties as needed.
Accountant - Generates Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and the Annual Budget for Rhythm Parq Legacy based upon guidance from the Board. Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA status is preferred but not required. Experience with non-profits is preferred but not required.
Director Of Student Recruitment - Makes calls and sends e-mails to Community Organizations and area High Schools to recruit students to attend Rhythm Parq Legacy. Also responsible for following up with students throughout the registration process. Training provided, no experience is needed.
Director Of Youth Scholarships - Is responsible for the selection and qualification process for College and Entrepreneurship Scholarships for Youth. Works closely with Founder and Board.
Director Of Public Relations/Celebrity Relations - Promotes all Major Events sponsored by Rhythm Parq Legacy (before and after event date) in coordination with the Director of Major Events and Director of Web/Media. E-mails press releases to the local and national media. Applies for awards and makes follow-up phone calls. Also is responsible for inviting celebrities to participate in events and may assist the Hospitality Coordinator with Guest Speakers/Artists. Training provided. No experience is needed.

Director Of Fundraising - Contacts past donors (via e-mail and/or phone) as well as potential Corporate Sponsors and Vendors for the Rhythm Parq Legacy Premier Event, as well as other Major Events. Will also contact Local Businesses and Colleges for In-Kind Donations (gift certificates, t-shirts, raffle items, etc.). Training provided. Contacts provided. No experience is needed.
Director Of Grantwriting - Identifies, writes and submits grants for Rhythm Parq Legacy. Experience is highly preferred.
Director Of Information Technology - Is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of Rhythm Parq Legacy's IT infrastructure. Experience Required.
Director Of Web/Graphic Design/Social Media & Publications - Occasionally updates our Rhythm Parq Legacy website. Creates positive and encouraging weekly posts on our Social Media sites and works to strategically build our online presence. Appropriately responds to comments and messaging on Social Media. Must have SEO experience. Will also assist in designing flyers, website banners, social media banners, t-shirts, and art for publications in coordination with the Rhythm Parq Legacy Graphic Design Team. Must have good writing skills. Will occasionally write articles for the E-Newsletter. Experience required. Works closely with Founder and Director of Major Events, and Event Videographer/Photographer.
Director Of Major Events - Plans and hosts events for Rhythm Parq Legacy's Socials and Major Events for Team Members, Donors, Board Members, Alumni, and Supporters. Budget provided. Experience preferred.

Hospitality Coordinator - Works closely with the Director of Major Events and the Director of Public/Celebrity Relations by coordinating and booking celebrity guests and speakers to attend our Major Events Programs. Will make travel, hotel, and ground transportation reservations and manage the needs of the Special Guests during their visit with Rhythm Parq Legacy. May assist with providing guests meals and backstage accommodations as needed.
Event Videographer/Photographer - Videographer will videotape all Major Events and create a promotional marketing video for Rhythm Parq Legacy. Experience in videography required. Photographer will capture still images of Staff, Volunteers, Special Guests, Students, and others for promotional purposes. No experience is required for photographer.
Youth (Male) Coordinator - will provide direct supervision and instruction for the male mentor program. This person will also conduct on-site school visits, teaches the academic and production modules, and assists the Director in planning/implementing programs.
Youth (Female) Coordinator - will provide supervision and instruction for the female mentor program. This person will also conduct on-site school visits, teaches the academic module, and assists the Director in planning/implementing programs.
Youth Personal Development & Creative Expression Coordinator - will focus on activities that help youth constructively resolve problems and reduce interpersonal aggression. Particular attention will be given to conflict resolution, peer mediation, and anger management. Will also focus on methods in which youth develop the capacity to acquire and negotiate experiences vital to improving their quality of life. The use of poetry, song, and dance will be vital to achieving the vision of Rhythm Parq Legacy in this position.
Youth Cultural/Personal Enhancement Coordinator - will focus on traditional foundations highlighting participants’ historical, ethnic, and ancestral backgrounds, which enhance personal, group esteem, pride, and awareness. Will also seek to promote sensitivity and respect of various systems of values, norms, traditions, and morals by creating an awareness of persons from different backgrounds.
Youth Financial Literacy/Education Coordinator - will educate youth on how to be financially responsible by saving, investing, and paying their debts on time. It will also teach youth how to live within a given budget. Finance specialists are preferred.
Youth Entrepreneurial Consultant Coordinator - will help youth develop, write, and implement business plans and encourage youth to be proactive citizens in creating careers not only for themselves but also for others. Great care will be taken to ensure that plans developed by the youth will be viable ideas and strategies. Youth will be eligible for Entrepreneurship Grants to help launch their businesses.
Youth Dance Coordinator - will provide opportunities for youth to engage in artistic expression through dance. Must know how to dance.
Studio Audio Engineer Coordinator - will provide opportunities for youth to engage in artistic projects such as vocal recording, poetry, songwriting, audio editing, instrument tracking, mixing, and learning the Art of Entertainment and artistic development. Must have experience in Audio Engineering and Recording. Studio and equipment will be provided. Works closely with Personal Development & Creative Expression Coordinator.
TV/Video Production Coordinator - will teach youth to operate various filming equipment, introduce framing techniques, lens angle variations, image development, lighting techniques, and editing processes. Youth will shoot, direct, and produce their film production with assistance from Coordinator and Collaborative Partners. Must know the area of film and editing.
Radio/Podcast Production Coordinator - will teach students the basics of radio broadcasting and allow students to set up their own web-based radio station in which they will be able to play their own music and music from licensed artists. They will do commercials and radio drops and will even create their own station identity. Must have knowledge of podcast/radio production. Works closely with Studio Audio Engineer and TV/Video Production Coordinator.
